Several years ago when I was doing a regular workout and aerobics schedule, I noticed that as my muscle tone was improving, my legs seemed to look worse.  What it seemed like at the time was for lack of a better way to put it, the fat swam up to the top.  Can you explain the process of converting fat to muscle and/or whether it is normal to look worse for a while before you look better?

i can work on my abs and get my obliques nice and tight but for goodness sakes i cannot get rid of my "pouch" from being pregnant 3 times!!!!  HELP!  I feel like the rest of my body is in the best shape of my life (and i am almost 40!) EXCEPT for that little belly...i can do every exercise and it doesn't work.  I need a SURE FIRE way to tighten this area FOR GOOD :)

I have both of your DVDs and love them.  I do have a question about my arms.  I have noticed a difference and a slight cut to them.  However, how can a get really cut arms, "guns".  Should I increase my weights?  I currently use 5 pounds.  Also, I was wondering if you could give me some excercises for my inner thighs.

I am with you zalq! I am 47, my children are 28 and 11, I have no stretch marks at all. I consider myself to be in pretty good shape. So why on earth can't I get rid of the belly, pouch, whatever you want to call it? Has anyone tried Zumba? It is really popular around here and I was thinking of it........

Hey Jackie,  I am 48 yrs old and have lost 70 pounds and kept it off for more than a year and have some problem areas. Is there an exercise that targets the top of the inner thighs. I walk and this doesn't seem to help.
