My daughter's school just did this because this is PROM night. Some of the students were very moved by this. Kids and teachers were crying during Mock DWI crash. I even had tears in my eyes. I looked over at my daughter and she did too.

Whether it's related to Prom or not, I think this program is a good idea. Kind of like the old "Scared Straight" program.

I think it's always a good idea to show teens what could happen if they do not act in a responsible way. I'm all for giving them this kind of information before prom, before homecoming, before graduation, before lunch, before dismissal..... ah, I think I've made my point

I've never heard of this? Is it done days before the prom? Prom night? Interesting.

I don't think this is necessary in connection with prom, but our school did this and it did really reach my daughter. Going into it, everyone was rolling their eyes because they knew it was fake. But going thru it did make my daughter think and it was verrrrrrry powerful. She said she was a little scared to drive after that!
