I recently got the book sneaky chief and really love it. It takes a while longer to make things however, it pays off making sure your kids get the proper nutrition. Mine is in 9th grade and it is hard to get her to eat right. So I tried this and it works so far. You work in puree's of food into dishes so they get more vitamins. Does anyone have any other books like that or recipes to share?

I have that book as well and did it for quite awhile. Now I buy small jars of organic baby food, sweet potatoes, carrots, etc. I found that easier to mix in without the work Another recipe that I just found my entire family likes and had no idea it was healthy was this:
I took onion, zucchini, red pepper, garlic and put them in the food processor until minced. I sauteed them in a bit of EVOO then added extra lean ground turkey, taco seasoning and 1/2c water. I served that along with other taco fixings and they never knew the difference. In fact my 15 year old asked for it again two days later! I love it when they eat well without knowing it! He's come a long way, he even put shredded lettuce and tomato on his! Great thread idea.

I have a 14 year old boy who also will eat almost NO fruits or veggies. This sounds like a great idea for him!

Momsterx3, that is such a good idea....Along with my daughter I too am not a big eater of onions and peppers. I do cook with them just for flavor and end up taking them out before we eat. I will be trying that idea tomorrow with my meatballs and sauce. So many different ideas from this site. Its great. Thanks
